Xavier Aptitude Test
XAT Full Form is Xavier Aptitude Test. The Xavier Labor Relations Institutes or the XLRI is India’s premium business management school. The XAT or the Xavier Aptitude Test is the entrance test for graduates to gain admission to the post-graduate business management courses as well as the corporate management courses offered by XLRI. It is a common entrance test for all XLRI courses. The entrance exam is conducted in almost all major cities in India and also in Dubai and Kathmandu.
The XLRI offers prestigious management programmes on Business Administration, HR, Entrepreneurship and General Management. Those who have 50% or more marks in graduation can apply for XLRI programmes. The final year graduate students with consistent aggregate marks above 50% can also apply for XAT. The application process in done online only and the aspirants are allowed to choose the city where they can take the test. The XAT is a common test for XLRI and other corporate management programmes offered by the Xavier Institute.
The XAT consists of Logical Reasoning, Decision making, Quantitative analysis, Data analysis and General Knowledge. Foreign students need to clear the GMAT exams before applying for XAT. Students from Dubai and Kathmandu are exempted from GMAT as they can take the test in their country. Students can mention whether they are opting for XAT only or XAT with XLRI.
