ING Vysya Full Form is International Netherlands Group & Vysya Bank. ING Vysya Bank is an Indian multinational bank that is considered as a private sector bank. This bank is one of the biggest private sector banks in India and it is continuously growing because its services are unique, innovative, secure, and trustworthy. Founded in 2002 and headquartered in Bangalore, ING Vysya was formed as the result of a merger between Vysya Bank of India and ING Group of Netherlands. It was the first incident of a merger between a reputed foreign bank and an established Indian bank.
This bank provides services and products in the sectors of private, retail, corporate, agricultural, and rural banking. It has opened about 550 branches and about 500 ATM counters across India. This bank is immensely active in the development of rural sectors and agricultural progress. The bank has opened many offices in the rural regions (mainly in the Central and North India) which heavily depends on agriculture.
It also sanctions loans for dairy, poultry farms, cold storage houses etc. ING Vysya bank heavily depends upon specialized market analysis before introducing or launching new products. It also has launched a mobile app that has unconventional features. ING Vysya bank decided and agreed to merge with Kotak Mahindra in 2014 and this merger got the green signal by RBI in 2015.
