GMAT Full Form is Graduate Management Admission Test. GMAT is a computer aided test which is considered a valid entrance test to apply for various management programs across the world. The Graduate Management Admission Test or GMAT is a standard accepted by management universities world-wide and tests the logical reasoning, decision making, quantitative analysis and verbal and written skills in English all of which are critical in the corporate world.
Preparing for GMAT requires a lot of practice. Many self-help books on GMAT preparation are available with sample questions on various levels of the GMAT format. Many reputed training institutes help the management aspirants to prepare well for the GMAT with training sessions and mock tests. There are 20 test centres in India and you can directly take the test online also.
More than 100 management schools in India accept GMAT scores for admission to more than 200 of their prestigious management courses. An unofficial score of the online test can be received immediately though the official results will take at least 20 days to reach your mail or address. If you are not satisfied with your GMAT scores you can cancel the test taken within 60 days of taking the test. The cut-off marks of GMAT for each management school may differ.
